A short article by Jane Akshar is on her blog describing her recent visit to these two temples, with some photos.

(While Andi Byrne isn't updating her blog - which I miss greatly - I'll expand the scope here somewhat to include Upper Egypt generally when I find stories.)

Andie puts a lot of time into her blog and though I do not know I would bet that she is burned out by the effort her blog takes and just wants to live life instead of being stuck in front of a computer. But hey what do I know I just follow her blog.

Keep up the good work Kate

I don't know how Andie does it. One of the reasons this blog is uusally restricted to the Luxor area is to keep my time commitment manageable.

Hi Kate and Tim,

Does anyone know where Andie is? I hope she is OK.

While my blog Talking Pyramids concetrates on ancient Egyptian pyramids, I also post a lot of more general Egyptology news links every day on my Twitter account:

You might find it helpful to fill the gap until Andie returns. Hope that is not too much of a shameless plug.

I'm a little concerned for Andie I must admit as she usually announces her absences.

No problem plugging your Twitter feed Vincent, I use it myself. Anybody who views the Twitter timeline in the white sidebar will also see how often you post about relevant topics. I've not made a big issue of Twitter feeds because so far only 8 people are following my blog on Twitter so I suspect most readers don't use Twitter. More subscribe to the newsfeed (Feedburner flicks between showing 40 and 70 readers seemingly at random)so you may be better promoting a newsfeed. I suspect a lot of people probably, like me, aren't interested in your VOCAB posts, so I'd be tempted to filter those out in the newsfeed you offer. If you don't know how to do that, I can do it for you in Yahoo Pipes.

Gone to Wales for birthday, back 30/03 was Andie's last message, I assume she was with her family. Families can be time consuming.
