Just heard from a friend and she says "I have just spoken to Barry at Amarna, and I'm afraid things are not so good there. Basically, even though Amarna itself seems to be calm and quiet, the security police have ordered the closure of the work and the evacuation of the team, to take place tomorrow. They therefore have no choice but to go to Cairo, where they will keep their heads down until the majority can leave the country."
