Two statues were stolen from the magazine of the German team excavating at the Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III. Three guards were injured in the armed raid.

Hi Kate,
Yet more bad news. Am i safe to assume that there will be no cctv footage to aid investigations into these thefts?
If not then perhaps that's something which needs to be introduced on a larger scale than currently on offer.
