For those who like links I found a new blog at http://magic-pharaohs.blogspot.com. The latest article is about the temple of Abydos and they all seem relatively shallow. It's in Spanish I think (or maybe Italian) - a language for which I can usually gist a translation but no more. It is not a site to rush to, but non-English sites aren't as common as they could be so it will be welcomed by some.

It's in severely mangled Spanish, from some Google-type translation of another language (Arabic?).
The information appears to be quite precise, but it's not an area I'm familiar with, so I can't vouch for its reliability.
I suspected too that it could be a translation from Arabic.
Might be a translation from another site in another language, but i found it sad that you, blogger of this piece of news, cannot distinguish Spanish from Italian...
I agree Oriente but I have always believed it is better to say when when doesn't known something than to blag.
